What to Expect

If the time has come to consider care for your loved one, we understand this is not a decision taken lightly.

We aim to make the process as easy as possible. Before your loved one joins us, we take time to get to know them – their needs, preferences and routines. We’ll invite you to visit the home, take a tour of our spacious rooms, and meet the team, so you can feel comfortable and informed every step of the way.

Each resident is assigned a key worker who becomes their main point of contact and a familiar face from the very beginning, helping them to settle quickly and build meaningful connections.

We encourage our teams to get to know residents as individuals, forming strong relationships based on trust, understanding and genuine care. Over time, we hope this gives you peace of mind, knowing your loved one is cared for around the clock with compassion, dignity and attention.

We also encourage residents to bring along familiar items, such as family photographs or a treasured ornament. These personal touches help create a sense of comfort and familiarity, supporting your loved one to settle in and feel at home.

You can find more details in our Resident’s Information Guide here.

Getting to Know Our Residents

When your loved one comes to stay with us, we’ll invite you to help create a personal life‑history story book. This includes details such as hobbies, interests and important moments from their life, helping us understand them as an individual. Every person’s story is unique, and this information allows us to personalise the care we provide - supporting comfort, familiarity and meaningful connection from the very beginning.
