Our Lady’s Hosts Red-Carpet Film Premiere for residents!
Our Lady’s Home was proud to roll out the red carpet on 1st July for a very special movie premiere, marking the finale of an inspiring 8-week reminiscence project with c21 Theatre Company.
The film, titled Our Stories, Scene and Heard, was created through weekly sessions led by c21’s reminiscence facilitator, Natasha, and funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. Over the course of the project, residents were encouraged to share precious memories from their younger years, focusing on their relationships with parents and siblings.
The result was a heartfelt film capturing these treasured stories on screen. At the premiere, residents, families and staff gathered in a specially set-up cinema space to enjoy the film together with refreshments. For many, the highlight was seeing familiar faces and voices brought to life on the big screen.

The event not only celebrated the completion of the project, but also highlighted the importance of storytelling, memory-sharing and creativity in enriching the lives of care home residents.
