Outstanding success at the Staff Nursing Ltd Awards 2018!

What a night was had at the Staff Nursing Ltd Awards 2018! Last year we came home with 9 outstanding awards and this year we have managed to go one better – 10 amazing accolades were won by our team members at Macklin Care Homes.
Hosted at Titanic Belfast, our team members became regulars on the stage as they were called up to receive the following awards:
- Registered Nurse of the Year – Winner – Joanne McCollam (Arlington, Deputy Nurse Manager)
- Investment in Training Award – Winner – Macklin Group
- Home Manager of the Year – Winner – Claire Black (Park Manor, Nurse Manager)
- Nursing Home of the Year – Winner – Milesian Manor
- Ancillary Worker of the Year – Winner – Janet Rae (Arlington, Ancillary Worker)
- Nursing Home of the Year – Highly Commended – Arlington
- Inspirational Achievement in Dementia Related Activities & Alternative Therapies – Highly Commended – Park Manor
- Healthcare Assistant of the Year – Highly Commended – Criostoir McCarthey, (Park Manor, Care Assistant)
- Senior Healthcare Assistant of the Year – Highly Commended – Vladimir Stoenescu (Park Manor, Senior Care Assistant)
- Senior Healthcare Assistant of the Year – Highly Commended – Emine Hurley (Park Manor, Senior Care Assistant)
Individual success was recognised as well as the Group being acknowledged for our level of excellence, training and continuous care throughout our Homes. Simply put, we care with heart, and this is clearly evident in the vast amount of awards won last night.
