A meaningful partnership for Macklin Group!
On World Cancer Day, we are pleased to announce our charity partnership with Cancer Focus Northern Ireland for 2025.
As a close neighbour to the family group for many years, Cancer Focus provide vital services for local cancer patients and their families across Northern Ireland.
Our dedication to ‘treating people really well’ at Macklin Group is a commonality that is shared with the charity, who provide support services including counselling, family support, specialist bra fitting, art therapy and a patient driving service for local people who are dealing with the devastating reality of a cancer diagnosis.
Gareth Macklin, Director of Macklin Group, reflects on the timing of the collaboration;
“This partnership marks a meaningful milestone as we approach our 40th year as a family business. Cancer Focus have been a valued neighbour for many years, and we are pleased to be working together to make a real difference to the lives of local people. Every day we work closely with families in our care homes, and now we can reach even more people who need support.”
Rosie Forsythe, Cancer Focus NI Corporate Fundraising Manager, looks excitedly towards the year ahead;

Every year, we need to raise £4.6 million pounds to continue to deliver our vital services to local people in Northern Ireland and corporate partnerships play an integral part in our charity’s fundraising. We are looking forward to the partnership and are excited for what we will achieve to continue to make a lasting difference to local people on their cancer journey.”
Every penny raised from this partnership will stay in Northern Ireland to help local people living with cancer. We encourage family & friends to support our teams in their fundraising efforts throughout the year.
