Park Manor compete in the first round of the Business Games Challenge!

Park Manor play the first round of the Business Games Challenge in a dodge ball play-off
The Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council ‘Business Games Challenge’ commenced last night at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex. It involved 16 teams from local businesses in the Lisburn Castlereagh area – and most importantly our fabulous team members from Park Manor Nursing Home, Dunmury took part.
This will be the second year of the Business Games Challenge which is part of the Council’s Business Solutions Investing in Health, Profit in Business programme which is funded by the Public Health Agency. The aim of this fantastic programme is to get local SME team members to get active and network together in a fun and healthy environment and to promote health and wellbeing in the community.
Park Manor showed fantastic team spirit with Captain Kirsty Mullholland giving the pep talks and motivational speeches. The first scheduled game was dodge ball, an old school P.E classic! It was a close call but they unfortunately didn’t win first prize this week, but we are sure they are the underdogs and will win the next two games.
Thursday 22nd February will see the next challenge – wheelchair basketball! We are looking forward to hear how the team get on.
