Milesian Manor win ‘Care Home of the Year’ 2018!

Milesian Manor deservingly win 'Care Home of the Year' at the Randox Health Healthcare awards 2018.

The Randox Health Healthcare Awards held on 1st February 2018 at La Mon Hotel and Country Club, recognise and identify organisations and individuals who show excellence in innovation and improve the standards of healthcare provision and the health of the population on Northern Ireland.

Care Home of the Year is an award that recognises a nursing home which sets the highest standards in terms of patient care, management care, core and ancillary facilities/services, hygiene and catering.

It was a humbling honour to be shortlisted for this prestigious award ceremony and we are proud to announce that Milesian Manor, Magherafelt have won ‘Care Home of the Year 2018’.

Nichola Smyth, Senior Staff Nurse at Park Manor Nursing Home, Dunmurry was a proud finalist for ‘Nurse of the Year 2018’ and Park Manor were finalists for ‘Care Home of the Year’ alongside Leabank Nursing Home, Ballycastle. We were also finalists for the ‘Training in Healthcare’ award.

We are overwhelmed to be so recognised by the Randox awards and winning Care Home of the year was well deserved recognition for the team at Milesian Manor. The team are passionate that each resident will live an individual and fulfilled life and create special experiences and memories for their families and work tirelessly to ensure this.

What an outstanding achievement, well done to every member of the team for your hard work, dedication and devotion to caring with heart.
